Kory Anderson working in an American manufacturing environment

Made by Anderson Brands

MASTER BUILDER.

PATENTED PRODUCTS. AWARD-WINNING COMPANIES. TALENTED PEOPLE. AND THE NEXT GENERATION COMES NEXT.

Kory Anderson has spent his career turning hard problems into working solutions. What began as portable welding from a garage grew into an interconnected family of American manufacturing companies, patented products, skilled-trades programs, publishing ventures, and purpose-driven brands. Kory knows how to take an idea from sketch to steel — and from first sale to a company built to last.

The Foundation

He didn't start with a business empire. He started with a welder.

Kory grew up in Andover, South Dakota, a town of 91 people where fixing, building, and figuring things out were part of everyday life.

At 22, he stepped away from college and began portable welding from his garage. That work helped fund a much larger vision: rebuilding the legendary 150 HP Case and developing the engineering, casting, machining, leadership, and business capability required to accomplish it.

The welding operation became Anderson Industries. The pursuit of better castings led to Dakota Foundry. Manufacturing knowledge created new products. New products created brands. Growing companies created the need for better tooling, additional foundry capacity, stronger teams, and a pipeline of future tradespeople. What exists today was not assembled as a collection of random investments. It was built one solved problem at a time.

The Builder Method

Kory's business model starts with knowing how to build.

01

Find the Real Problem

Kory looks for problems customers, manufacturers, farmers, tradespeople, and communities cannot solve with existing options.

02

Engineer a Practical Solution

Ideas are translated into CAD models, patterns, prototypes, tooling, processes, and products designed for real-world performance.

03

Build and Test It

The team fabricates, machines, casts, assembles, and tests the solution using its own manufacturing capability whenever possible.

04

Create the System

Kory develops the people, equipment, suppliers, quality controls, and processes required to produce consistently.

05

Build the Brand

A strong product becomes a clear promise to the customer, supported by service, storytelling, and an authentic mission.

06

Reinvest in What Comes Next

Every new capability strengthens the larger ecosystem and helps train the next generation of builders.

Kory's advantage is simple: he understands the complete journey from an idea on paper to a product in a customer's hands.

The Made by Anderson Ecosystem

Many brands. One American mission.

Built in America. Built to Last.

Two Builders. One American Mission.

When one builder met another, the mission grew.

Kory built the technical foundation through welding, engineering, manufacturing, product development, and foundry operations.

Ali brought a different kind of builder's experience. A Colorado State University honors graduate in supply chain and marketing and a former Accenture consultant, she helped major companies manage strategy, operations, and change. She understood how to organize complicated businesses, communicate a mission, develop brands, and turn ideas into systems capable of growing.

They met in 2019 beneath the 150 HP Case at the Western Minnesota Steam Threshers Reunion in Rollag, Minnesota. Both had been raised around steam heritage, craftsmanship, and an appreciation for the people who built America. Ali did not simply join Kory's story. Together, they began writing a larger one. They moved to Lakeside, Montana, in 2021, married in 2022, and are now raising their daughters, Selah and Livvy, while expanding an American-made ecosystem.
